Dairy Sales Up $8m
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. Receipts from dairy export sales for the six months to the end of September were sBm more than in the same period last year, the general manager of the Dairy Board (Mr A. H. Ward) announced today. Earnings from sales in Britain were up s3m, and returns from other markets showed-an increase of Ssm. “The six months’ figures give ground for optimism,” Mr Ward said.
