All the space In the Bank of New Zealand building has been let except for one shop on .the ground floor facing Cathedral Square. The bank’s assistant manager of administration (Mr T. M. Stout) said that the keen demand for tenancy of the building reflected the need for prestige office space in Christchurch. When plans for the building were announced many persons thought it would not be fully tenanted for many years because of the high rentals that would have to be asked, he said.
