Hagley Park
Sir,—Another horror from our power-drunk civic fathers—a sports stadium, of all things. The beastly motorway is taking too much Of the park already and there are surely plenty of other sites for a stadium without taking any more. One expects the City Council to have some consciousness' of the things really worth preserving, and Hagley Park is too precious for their vandal hands to spoil.—Your*.. ofc., JABBERWOCKY. October 12, 1969.
