Penguin Chick

A dead chick from the Emperor penguin rookery at Cape Crozier has been offered to the Canterbury Museum for its Antarctic collection. A four-man party of Americans and New Zealanders, led by Mr N. Wilson and Mr R. Fowbisher, returned from thp rookery last Thursday at the end of the nine-day trek. It was the first dog sledging party to visit the rookery since 1957.—(P.A.)
