Passing Of Horse
The New Zealand General Drivers’ Award which has been agreed on in conciliation in Wellington, marks the official passing of the horse as a beast of burden on the New Zealand scene. For the first time in the award there is no provision for horse drivers. Another first is the provision made for trucks over 15 tons. —(P.A.)
