12 Steers Returned
Twelve of the 69 steers which disappeared from the farm of Mr H. S. Papps at Little Akaloa, Banks Peninsula, in recent weeks, have been returned to the property. These steers were nervous but soon settled down, Mr Papps said last evening. It appeared they had been worked with dogs. He never used dogs, he said.
