Meat Exports
Sir,—Can you tell me which meat works in New Zealand are (a) licensed to export meat to North America, and (b) able to supply the Meat Export Development Company -with lambs which have been aged and conditioned on their premises?.— Yours, etc, SHAREHOLDER. October 3, 1969. [Mr A. Jones, Information executive of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board replies: “(a) All licensed meat export slaughterhouses in New Zealand are entitled to prepare meat for the North American market. (b) Twenty-four of the 39 meat export slaughterhouses supply the Meat Export Development Company with aged and conditioned lambs.’*]
