D.B. Acquires Control Of S.I. Wine & Spirit
(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) INVERCARGILL, Oct 10. The South Island Wine and Spirit Company, Ltd, will now act as the Southland branch of Dominion Breweries, Ltd. Negotiations were completed today, the company’s secretary (Mr C. M. Hercus), said in Invercargill tonight “Dominion Breweries have accepted an offer to acquire the assets of the South Island Wine and Spirit Company, and the company will distribute Dominion Breweries products and agency lines,” he said. The company’s factory at
Riverton will start in its new field immediately as the offer back-dates to October L Mr Hercus said.
