Divisional Heads Appointed

| Four directors of divisions of the Department of Industries and Commerce have been appointed. They are Mr A. W. Broadbent (Export Services), Mr N. V. Farrant (Industries B), Mr C. E. Beard (Consumer Services) and Mr T. M. Brown (Industrial Development).

Mr Broadbent recently returned from the post of Trade Commissioner in Montreal. He was Trade Commissioner in Washington from 1959 to 1963 and served previously in Montreal and Ottawa. Mr Farrant became assistant director of the Industries i A Division in 1965 and before I then was secretary of the i Tariff and Development i Board.

Mr Beard was assistant director of the Consumer Services Division (formerly Trade Practices and Prices). Mr Brown was assistant director of the Industrial Development Division from 1965 to this year and is the Government director on the board of the New Zealand Woolpack and Textiles, Ltd.
