No Soreness After Race "The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL. Holy Hal, has taken no harm from the race he had when he finished third to Garcon Roux and Stella Frost In the National Handicap at Addington Raceway last Saturday. Unfortunately he iS) still a “day-to-day” proposl"He was not sore after his race and he lias been all right since.’’ said his Edendale partowner, Mr D. Keenan. He will have h>ts next start either in the A. E. Laing Handicap at the New Brighton meeting on September 6. or at Hutt Park the Stella Frost was left at Tinwald with D. J. Townley after her race at Addington Raceway last Saturday. Townley will train her until after the New Zealand Cup meeting in November.
Like Holy Hal, Stella Frost requires one win to be correctly placed on the limit of the cup. She will race at the New Brighton meeting, after which she wil j a go to the Wellington and Auckland meetings. Stella Frost’s owner-trainer L. H. Tilson, is confident that she will improve considerably as a result of her races at Addington. His own track was not in use and Stella Frost had onlv worked on the beach.
