MAN FINED $75
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Aug. 25. A man said to have driven off with a policeman hanging on to bis car was fined a total of $75 in the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court today. Richard Thomas Simon, aged 24, a driver, pleaded guilty to four charges, after three other charges had been dismissed at an earlier appearance, :He was fined $5O on a charge of reckless driving, and ,$25 on a charge of failing '.to ascertain whether there had been injury. He was convicted and discharged on charges of failipg to stop when instructed to do so by a constable, and failing to stop after an accident. He was • prohibited, from driving for 18 months.
