Carter Wins Two Events Eleven • year - old Jimmy! Carter from the Wbarenuii club won two titles and I finished third in another at. the Queensland winter swim- 1 rning championships, which finished at Brisbane yesterday. Carter won the under-12 200 metres individual medley in 2min 45.25ec after qualifying in 2min 48sec. He; was first in 100 metres breaststroke in imin 28sec, and third in the 100 metres backstroke in Imin 18.8 sec. He also qualified for the final of the 400 metres freestyle and finished seventh in smin 14.8 sec. All his times were better: than his best performances: last summer.
