OVERSEAS TRADING
SYDNEY As a whole the market fell again yesterday, but there was a complete change in the character of trading. It was the industrials that were weak, while the miners staged a re* marked upturn. Among the string of gains in the mining “heavy-weights” were C.R.A., Mt Isa, Great Boulder, and Western Mining. Bradmill’s take-over bid for Davies Coop caused a 9c rise in the latter to 55c. Bradmill, however, fell 4c to 87c. The banks, led by the Bank of New South Wales, which fell 14c to 716 c, were an especially weak group in the industrials. B.H.P. more than cancelled out Tuesday’s revival with a 25c fall to 1415 c.
