Diesel-Fume Prosecutions

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. Transport officers issued 1014 offence notices to drivers of heavy vehicles emitting excessive diesel fumes in the 18 months to June, the' Minister of Transport (Mr Gordon) told Parliament today in reply to a question. He said there were 348 convictions.
