This is a new position resulting from the substantial expansion of the group. He will be directly responsible to the managing director for the control and administration of the financial and accounting functions. He is expected to have views of his own and to be able to contribute directly to the over-all management as a full member of the executive of the group. All accounting procedures are fully. mechanised but there is scope for system improvement and development He will be expected to investigate and develop further the management accounting system at present being used. The group activities include a fully integrated retail motor business holding a General Motors dealership, operation of three general transport businesses, an oil company agency, mining and land subdivision. Group turn-over is at present approximately $1 million and group assets $700,000. This Is a senior position and offers the opportunity of career development.
