244 Apply For 60 Places (N.Z, Pr«»» association? AUCKLAND, August 4. There have been 244 applications jo far for the 60 places at the Auckland University medical school for first-year students next year. The school secretary, Mr P. Dickinson, said that as a few more applications posted on August 1 could still be in the mail, he was sure that last year's total of 254 would be reached again. Most of the applicants would be interviewed after school examinations. After a few days grace, late applications were referred to the selection committee.
