AN 18FT CONDENSER, perhaps the large of its kind yet made in New Zealand, being prepared for the start of its journey yesterday to the ctode Company plant at Edendale, near Invercargill. Built at Woolston by Norman J. Hurll and (N.Z.), Ltd, the seven-ton unit is made almost entirely of stainless steel, including 700 tubes, and is valued about $13,000. Its function is to provide backpressure for evaporators.
