Advantages To The Shipper

While each shipper will find specific advant* ages for his own product, the unit load system operated by N.Z.U.E. offers many advantages common to most cargoes. They are:

Over-all transit times slashed because of faster loading and discharge. This'leads to regular, reliable schedules and better shipping opportunities. Because cargo is loaded and discharged in units, not in individual bags, cartons or boxes, the shippers' trucks are not held up in unproductive delays. Prompter clearance of goods. Reduced packing charges with scope for elimination of individual packs. Inventory savings, faster turnover and greater

sales flexibility. Shippers can promote sales by the unit, yet still ship bulk consignments. Less damage, loss and pilferage, reducing the number of claims—and their annoyance. Scope for reduction of insurance premiums.

Protection from rain. Special tents can be erected quickly over the sideport doors and goods can be further protected by individual unit covers.

Shippers who present their cargo for shipment already on pallets will normally qualify for some refund of freight.
