$53.5m For Development

WELLINGTON, July 29. A total of $53.5m has been subscribed to the National Development Loan, the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) said today. “This was rather more than we had expected but is almost exactly the same as the amount subscribed towards the corresponding loan in June-July, 1968,” he said. The loan closed on July 18.
