Miss Booth Leader

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. The New Zealand amateur golfer, Miss H. Booth, hit a par-75 to be clear leader at the end of the qualifying rounds of the Victorian women's championship at Melbourne yesterday. Miss Booth finished only two over par in the two rounds to give her an eightstroke lead over her nearest rival, Mrs R. Dummett, a former New South Wales match-play champion. Match play rounds for the 16 qualifiers will begin today, and the 36-hole final on Friday.
