T. Aaron set a course record of 64 to finish in a tie with the veteran, S. Snead, in the Canadian Open golf championship. Both scored 275 for the 72 holes. A playoff will be held. W. Casper finished with a five-under-par 67 to take third place with 280. Next were T. Kono (Japan) on 281, and A. Balding and R. J. Charles (New Zealand) on 282.
