More Premium Petrol Sold
I (N.Z. Press Association WELLINGTON, July 25. For the first time stjes or premium-grade pet. o; w" than doubled saies of standard grade in New Zealand last financial year. Reporting to Parliament today, the Industries and Commerce Department said petrol sales for the year ended March 31 were 121.1 million gallons of standard (31.4 per cent of all sales) and 264.3 million gallons of premium (68.6 per cent). Total petrol consumption increased during the year by 12.7 million gallons, or 3.4 per cent.
