R. Morton (New Zealand) was fifth over all at the end of the first day of the international O.K. class yachting championship. Morton finished eighth in the first leg of racing, over eight miles in the Mediterranean off tlie Riviera yachting centre of Bendor. He improved in the second leg, over 5.4 miles, to finish fifth. W. Sinke (Netherlands) led the over-all classification with 13.7 points. Morton had 24 points.
