Snow reports issued yesterday by the Canterbury Ski Associa* Hon were:— Amurl.-—Same conditions as last week; new anew Wednesday night; road clear, two tows operating. Cralgiaburn.—New snow; all four tows working; road open to huts but chains necessary; instructor in attendance. Mount Cheaseman.—New snow Wednesday; main and access tows working; road open but chains necessary; instructor in residence. North Canterbury Ski Club.— Four inches fresh powder over ice on Thursday; lesa snow than
last week; skiable level 3500 ft: all tows operating and road open but chains essential. Lake Ohau.—More snow since last week; tows and ski school operating. Coronet Peak.—Five inches fresh snow Wednesday night: skiable level 3500 feet; chair lift and tows operating: conditions good. Temple Basin.—Heavy enow Thursday; Temple and downhill tow working and goods lift operating: instructor in residence. Porter Heights.—New enow fallen and cover adequate: road open to car parks but chains necessary; all tows operating.
