Howarth Gets Longer Trial
(Special Crepdi. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON. The young Auckland cricketer, G. Howarth, who has been on trial with Surrey for i a month, has been asked to stay on the staff for a further month, an Indication that the county authorities are showing genuine interest in him. In the last few weeks Howarth, who is an off-spin-ner, has had three matches for the county seconds.
