GLAMIS LAD TO START?
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Glamis Lad, whose running had been the subject of an inquiry and which had been found by the club’s veterinary surgeon to have suffered a suspected coronary haemorrhage after the running of the Whyte Handicap on the first day of the Trentham meeting, has apparently recovered and is an acceptor in the Winter Oaks Handicap on the final day of the meeting. The judicial committee, however, has decided that the horse’s starting will be conditional on its passing a further examination by a veterinary surgeon.
