Thieves apparently used a child to break into the premises of Bayliss and Booth, Ltd, farm machinery and supply dealers, at Te Puke last night It is believed that a child was lifted on to a ledge at the side of the large modern building. Once inside the child apparently opened the main door on the Mme aide of the building to let an adult in. The door to the office of the company secretary, Mr A. Miller, was forced and his office was ransacked. Mr Miller said nothing had been stolen.
