Presbytery Resignation

The resignation from active participation in the work of the Christchurch Presbytery by Mr A. C. Wells was accepted with regret by the presbytery at its monthly meeting last evening. Mr Wells was ordained more than 40 years ago. He was inducted in the first session of the Cashmere Hills congregation and for a number of years was clerk. He was later elected a presbytery elder, and when his term expired he was retained as a special elder. “Throughout the years, Mr Wells served on many committees, bringing to each his quiet and experienced understanding of the business in hand,” said the Rev. N. Campbell.
