NOMINATION FOR OFFICE
The Dominion president of the Country Women’s Institute, Mrs H. L. Gain, has been nominated for the office of vice-president in the South Pacific for the Associated Country Women of the World, members of the Canterbury federation were told recently. A bay at the Industries Fair will be a room furnished with materials made by arts and crafts circles. Other articles would be displayed and demonstrations would be be given by members, it was decided.
