Speed skating
Major speed skating events to be held in Canterbury this season are:— July 5-6: Lake Ida Winter Sports Club long track championships. July 12-13: Canterbury provincial long track championships. July 19-20: New Zealand long track championships. July 27: New Zealand marathon championship. August 2-3: New Zealand short track championships.
All events will be held at Lake Ida.
