ELECTRONIC COLLAR

Objection By S.P.CA. (N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, June 18. The Royal Federation of New Zealand Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals did not approve of the electronic dog collar device for the training or handling of dogs, the president, Mr D. A. Wells, of Gisborne, said in a statement released in Blenheim. The decision was reached on a consideration of the facts as at present known to the federation, Mr Wells said. Members of the executive had met the manufacturers, had seen a film demonstration, and had examined the device.
