No Work At Wingatui
“The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. The deterioration of the track at Wingatui might have a serious effect on the condition of horses engaged at the Ashburton Racing Club's meeting to* morrow. Lack of a suitable track made it impossible for any serious galloping yesterday after four days of limited op portunities because of the snow. The Invercargill trainer, R. F. Pankhurst, who is at present quartered at Wingatui, is undecided about Change’s engagement in the Maronan Handicap. J. S. McKay said Sunny Filou was a doubtful starter In the Dromore Steeplechase because of bis interrupted preparation.
