Audited net profit of Tappenden Industries, Ltd, for the year to March 31, 1969, was £273,274, against £203.161 the previous year, an increase of 35 per cent. The preliminary profit announcement in May gave the profit as “in excess of $250,000." Earning rate on capital is up from 18.5 to 24.8 per cent. As previously reported, a li per cent bonus is added to the ' steady 12 J per cent dividend, to mark the company’s fourtieth year. Dividends are payable July 26, ex July 17.
