“Quite A Loss”
A plaintiff in a Supreme Court damages claim had said that because of a wrist injury suffered at work he could no longer coach junior Rugby, as he could no longer throw the ball about, his counsel (Mr B. A. Barrer) reminded the jury trying the case. “Rugby is a bit of a religion in New Zealand, and that might be quite a loss to him.” Mr Barrer said.
