Message From Ra

The papyrus boat Ra, which set out from Morocco on May 25 to cross the Atlantic, has reported that she is continuing to make good time in a south-westerly direction, in spite of some roughening of the seas. The Ra, skippered by the Norwegian adventurer, Mr Thor Heyerdahl, with an international crew of five was about 150 miles north-east of Santo Antao, the northernmost of the Cape Verde Islands, at 10 p.m. last night New Zealand time.—New York, June 18.
