Conductor To Return (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 18. A former conductor of the National Orchestra, James Robertson, would visit New Zealand in August as guest conductor for the New Zealand Opera Company’s season, a spokesman for the company said today. Mr Robertson, who is now director of the London Opera Centre, was conductor of the National Orchestra from 195457. He was later the artistic and musical director for the New Zealand Opera Company and conductor of the N.Z.B.C. Concert Orchestra in 1962-63.
