NEW YORK, June 14. A l&year-old New York boy who lied about his age to join the Markies was killed in action in Vietnam last Saturn day, making him. the youngest serviceman to die in the war, military spokesmen reported today. The youth, Private Dan Bullock, a Negro, died of "multiple missile wounds to the body from small arms fire” sustained while he was on guard duty at a combat base in Quang Nam Province, the spokesman said. The boy's sister, 13-year-oid Gloria, said her brother enlisted to help pay for her educational expenses. Their distraught father said he knew his son was going to enlist in the marines but admitted making no effort to inform authorities of his age.

Biggest Conference.—The Pacific Area Travel Association conference in Auckland next April will b the biggest held in New Zealand. It is expected to attract 1000 members of P.ATA. from the 35 countries taking part.—(PA.)
