New Role For Schooner
(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) SYDNEY, June 12. The 240 - ton topsail schooner, New Endeavour, a popular Barrier Reef cruiseship for some years, is to return to the reef, as a television “prop.” The vessel has been moored in Brisbane for six months since her owners, New Em deavour Cruises Pty, Ltd, went into liquidation. Now the ship has been bought by Fauna Productions, Ltd, and will be used in the filming of a television series. The ship may also be used in the Captain Cook bicentenary celebrations.
