Warrant Officer D. F. Williams, regimental sergeantmajor of the Ist Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment Depot at Burnham Military Camp, has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for 21 years continuous service with the Regular Army. The medal will be presented at a regimental parade. Mr J. G. Alexander, of Maxwell, Wanganui, has been elected president of the Romney Sheep Breeders’ Association. Mr Alexander is studmaster of the Cranleigh Romney Stud,-and one of New Zealand’s leading Romney breeders.—(P.A.)
