Gold Medal Award '(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON, June 11. The Meat Board has won a gold medal awarded by Spanish authorities for the most meritorious promotional effort at the Barcelona trade fair. The medal was awarded to the board after the publicity efforts and exhibition stands of 51 nations taking part were judged. The official citation to be presented to the board says New Zealand lamb has made the most effective contribution to the fair’s atmosphere for commercial reasons, presentation of product and elegant stand design.
