Clothesline Thefts
Clothing was stolen from three clotheslines in Christchurch at the week-end. Clothing valued at $51.50 was stolen from a line in Oxford Terrace, and women’s underclothing' valued at $ll was taken from a line -in Gloucester Street in the early hours of Sunday. Clothing valued at $6.20 was stolen from a line in Durham Street on Saturday night. Property valued at $39.75 was stolen from a car parked outside the Hagley Park sports centre between 11 p.m. and midnight on Saturday. A small purse containing $2O was stolen from the nurses’ home at the Christchurch Hospital on Friday night
