Vietnam Quieter
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) SAIGON, June 9. The level of fighting in South Vietnam has been reduced after three days of intensified activity, only 20 overnight shelling incidents being reported. The biggest battle yesterday was in the province of Tay Ninh, where 40 Viet Cong were killed by helicopter fire. In the central province of Quang Ngai, 11 civilians were killed and 19 were wounded when their bus was blown up by a Viet Cong mine.
