ANOTHER FROST

Frosty weather continued in Christchurch yesterday with readings of 14.2 degrees at the Christchurch Airport Weather Office and 10.7 degrees at the Magnetic Observatory in the Botanic Gardens.

The airport Weather Office predicted frosts for this morning, and tomorrow morning. The reason for the recent succession of heavy frosts in Christchurch was the lack of cloud to keep heat to a low level, a Weather Office spokesman said.
