Tree Cuts Power

A tree being cut down in Hills Road near Prestons Road yesterday afternoon fell across an 11,000-volt line, cutting off power to 400 to 500 consumers in the Mairehau and St Albans areas. The icut occurred just after 4 !p.m. and M.E.D. linemen had i repaired the break by 5.23 ;p.m.
