University Can Call Tenders

WELLINGTON, May 19.
Authority has been given for the University of Otago to call tenders for a new building for the department of biochemistry. The Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said in a statement issued today that the department at present had inadequate facilities in the Otago Medical School. The freeing of limited space in the medical school would be one step towards increasing its intake from 120 students to 150.
