Direct Return Is Sold

Direct Return, • surprise winner of the Oemeru Juvenile Stakes on May 10, has been sold by his Adelaide owner, Mr O. Bansemer, to Mrs A, D. Dean, of Auckland, and a Wellington businessman. The price was a five-figure opa.

Direct Return, by Garrison Hanover from Suzie Medora, was trained and driven far his Damaru win by P. G. O’Reilly, of Hlghbank. He Is at present at Reydon Lodge from where he will probably contest the $5OOO Hew Zealand Sapling Stakes on May 31.
