U.K. Train Crash

The driver of the London-to-Glasgow overnight passenger express was killed yesterday when his train was in collision with the i’ar of another express, bound for Inverness. The accident occurred on a steep gradient on the borders of Dumfriesshire and Lanarkshire. The Inverness train had stopped and the crew had asked for help to get it going again. The Glasgow express moved forward to give assistance, and crashed into the stationary train.—Glasgow, May 19.
