Pilots’ Claims

Sir, —As a humble member of the long-suffering strikeridden public, I applaud your editorial, “Pilots’ Fantasy”; but you forgot to mention the test-bench pilots, the people who really keep the planes flying. If any hand-outs are due, then they should also be given consideration in this fantastic wage claim. I say to the airline executives concerned, let the pilots have their strike. Automatic pilots are just aropnd the corner.—Yours, etC " FED-UP BLENHEIM. May 16, 1969.
