SUMNER’S NEW LIFEBOAT.—Messrs D. Cardnell and R. Stubbs, of Cardnell Brothers, Maylandsea, near Chelmsford, Essex, putting the finishing touches to the lifeboat .from Bridlington (Yorkshire) which is being sent to the Sumner Lifeboat Institute. The 35ft 6in boat was built in 1953, and has been in the Royal National Lifeboat Institute’s reserve fleet since 1964.
