Steady Turnover For Unit Subs.

(New Zealand Press Association)

AUCKLAND, May 15.

The half-yearly accounts of Unit Subdivisions, Ltd, the Auckland land developer, show that the number of sections sold, the total turnover and the profit in the first six months of the current year were comparable with those in the same period last year.

The season’s production of sections was now coming on the market, the directors said in their interim report today. It is proposed to announce

details for the flotation of a new company to develop marinas within the next few weeks, and this company will start with the development of the 430-berth marina at Half Moon Bay. When the intended formation of this company was announced at Unit Subdivisions’ annual meeting in February, the chairman (Mr R. D. Cox) said Unit Subdivisions would have a substantial interest in the marina company and shareholders also would be able to participate.
